About Us
OUR MISSION
Hoverson Contracting is based in Underwood, North Dakota. Our mission is to provide quality work that blesses those we serve. We will carefully use the gifts that God has given us in our skills, abilities, and resources, to make sure your home or business is safe and functional for years to come. Everything is a gift from the Lord and we want to be good stewards of what He has given us. In our work, we will be diligent, efficient, and effective. With each project we undertake, we will seek the wisdom of God, so that what we do is pleasing to him.
The foundation of the Christian life is our faith in the Good News of God’s grace. The Living and True God is a God of justice and of mercy. Every person at one time bears the guilt of sinful rebellion against God and is separated from a relationship with Him by that sin.
God’s holy justice requires punishment for human sin, but out of His love and mercy He gave His Son Jesus Christ to become our Savior. Christ became a man to fulfill the righteous requirements of God’s Law on our behalf and to bear the punishment of the sins of human beings through His death on Calvary’s cross, so that we can be forgiven and adopted into God’s eternal family.
Contrary to much of popular belief, we cannot earn the forgiveness of God by being good enough to merit these blessings. The Bible teaches that, as sinners, we can never be good enough on our own merit. But God offers us these benefits as a free gift, purchased in love by the holy life and the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ.
We accept this gift by placing our faith in Christ, repenting of our sins, and trusting in His death as the means of our forgiveness and acceptance by God, receiving Him as our Savior and Lord. You may express this by praying a prayer in faith
This is the most important message you will ever hear. It's never too late to repent and receive salvation from Jesus Christ.
SO WHATS NEXT?
Pray
To grow in your relationship with Jesus, you must spend time with Him. As you pray and read the Bible, expect the Holy Spirit to speak to you, direct you, and interact with you. Prayer is simply talking to God. God wants you to talk with Him. And you will learn to listen for His quiet voice, to follow His leading and, see His direction for you. We strongly suggest that you set aside time each day for reading the Bible and praying. Also, it is a good idea for you to start your Bible reading in the gospel account according to John.
Be Baptized
Water baptism is the next step for a professing believer of Christ. It is an important, biblical part of following Jesus.
Romans 6:4 says “We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
Your old life is dead and buried; you have been raised to new life in Him and will follow Him for the rest of your life.
Connect with Other Believers
Find other believers who can help you grow and guide you into the new life that God has granted to you. Find a church and attend regularly. Surround yourself with these likeminded friendships, so that when the temptations of life come to pull you away, you have already built an accountable fortress of people who can help you through any situation.
Hebrews 10:24-25 “And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
